Your Ideal Pokémon Legends: Z-A Super Form According to Your Astrological Sign

The return of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked immense excitement within the fandom. From the gradual unveiling of newcomers ahead of the game's release, to trainers developing strong opinions on the full roster of new Megas, there's plenty for enthusiasts to look forward to.

Given numerous of the Mega Evolutions showcasing distinctive designs that highlight their traits, one thought naturally: How can link this with zodiac signs? The following is inspired by a blend of intuition, sign stereotypes, and personal experience.

Aries – Mega Camerupt

To be truthful, Houndoom was almost chosen for this fire sign, as both are the Mega Pokémon and astrological sign that inspire the most fear. But, a Super Houndoom appears as always angry, which isn't typical of the Ram's energy, renowned for being playful, cheerful, and impulsive. This makes the Ram far more akin to Super Camerupt, which solely erupts when provoked. Stay on the good side of both and enjoy a strong partner; should you offend them, be ready to get burned.

Taurus – Mega Heracross

Much like a loyal Bull, the reliable Heracross, whether in its regular and Super Form, has assisted many trainers in Legends: Z-A. Though trustworthy, both the creature and a Taurus are also Fighting types, and – be it their companion or a firm belief – will defend their side unwaveringly. The thing about Mega Heracross that recalls most of my Bull-sign companions, though, is its unabashed passion for treats. Several previous Pokédex entries note their fondness for sweet sap and how it uses its horn to hoard it everything, which is true Bull-sign vibe.

The Twins – Super Medicham

Look at this total queen. It's impossible to convince me this Pokémon is not the soul of any gathering, offering an endless stream of chatter to those who wants to hear. Much like an enrapturing, gregarious Twins, it's incredibly simple to imagine Super Medicham mesmerizing an entire open area with their stories. This Pokémon's official description also states its ability to predict an opponent's future actions, which seems very similar to a people-smart Twins.

Cancer – Super Manectric

The Crab is widely regarded as the most sensitive member of the astrological wheel, a passionate sign famous for frequently getting absorbed in their emotions. Per the Pokédex, Super Evolution fills the Pokémon with a “huge amount of energy, but it's too much for this Pokémon to completely control,” which seems a lot like a classic Crab crash-out. It is also known for its ability to make a thundercloud over its own head – and if there’s a single trait a Cancer is going to do, it’s spoil their good time.

The Lion – Mega Starmie

Oh, did you think I was planning to pick Pyroar for the king of the stars? Aside from the reality that it would be much too on the nose, The Lion is clearly Super Starmie, the star whose gams just became an internet sensation for being extremely glamorous (or terrifying, depending on your preference). Players couldn’t look away from the purple starfish, and that’s exactly the identical energy a Leo offers to the scene. This Pokémon is also rumored to be transmitting radio waves from its red core out into space, and it’s typical of a Lion to be putting on a show, even if for aliens.

The Maiden – Super Victreebel

The always-ready and constantly-worried Virgo is ideally represented in Mega Victreebel, the Mega with constant digestive issues. The sign famous for being charmingly judgmental is clearly mirrored across this Pokémon’s entire lineage, from a always surprised expression like a Maiden when you inform them you lack a 401(k), to its upside-down face that’s similar to the emoji a Virgo sends to the group chat when everyone says they want to “go with the flow” instead of creating a strategy.

Libra – Mega Audino

Look at this gentle, sensitive creature, who employs the sensors on its ears to detect how people are emotionally by their heartbeat. Always compassionate – occasionally to a fault – and striving to keep the harmony, there are numerous Libras who would probably appreciate Mega Audino’s skills. Though, to be frank, it would likely just make them stress more about everyone else.

The Scorpion – Mega Banette

This Ghost-type is a creature with a surprisingly sad backstory: Discarded as a toy, it gained sentient through sheer resentment and vowed revenge on its previous caretaker. According to the official info, Super Evolution, “enhances its vindictiveness.” That sounds precisely like several discussions I’ve had with my intense Scorpio friends. A Scorpio adores karma and retribution, making them the perfect match with Mega Banette.

Sagittarius – Mega Hawlucha

Each Mega Hawlucha and Sagittarians are always putting on a performance. Being a Archer personally, the amount of occasions I’ve referred to myself some variation of a “silly little jester” is countless. The most flamboyant and most attention-seeking Mega Evolution, its Pokédex entry even mentions how it “flexes to display its power.” I would do the very same thing if I had a Mega evolved form, making Super Hawlucha the most fitting Sagittarius counterpart I can think of.

Capricorn – Super Absol

Were you aware that a Super Absol has the ability to predict disasters ahead of time? That gives the exact same vibe as a Capricorn, who often always think they’re correct. Interestingly, much like a visionary Mega Absol, they often are. It’s also the absolute initial Super Form that players encounter in Legends: Z-A – typical of a Capricorn to get in on the beginning of the Super Form craze.

Aquarius – Super Chandelure

Detached element Water Bearer is arguably the non-flame sign that is closest to a fire sign – its counterpart is Leo, and there are countless memes about the Archer and Water Bearer being unpredictable accomplices. Mega Chandelure’s double Ghost/Fire typing matches seamlessly with this, and the Mega’s overall intimidating aura is also very Aquarius. If you hadn't yet persuaded, the Mega’s Pokédex entry says it “absorbs hatred and transforms it into strength.” If that fails to exactly {encaps
