The return of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked immense excitement within the fandom. From the gradual unveiling of newcomers ahead of the game's release, to trainers developing strong opinions on the full roster of new Megas, there's plenty for enthusiasts to look forward to.

Given numerous of the Mega Evolutions showcasing distinctive designs that highlight their traits, one thought naturally: How can link this with zodiac signs? The following is inspired by a blend of intuition, sign stereotypes, and personal experience.

Aries – Mega Camerupt

To be truthful, Houndoom was almost chosen for this fire sign, as both are the Mega Pokémon and astrological sign that inspire the most fear. Several previous Pokédex entries note their fondness for sweet sap and how it uses its horn to hoard it everything, which is true Bull-sign vibe.

The Twins – Super Medicham

Look at this total queen. It's impossible to convince me this Pokémon is not the soul of any gathering, offering an endless stream of chatter to those who wants to hear. Much like an enrapturing, gregarious Twins, it's incredibly simple to imagine Super Medicham mesmerizing an entire open area with their stories. This Pokémon's official description also states its ability to predict an opponent's future actions, which seems very similar to a people-smart Twins.

Cancer – Super Manectric

The Crab is widely regarded as the most sensitive member of the astrological wheel, a passionate sign famous for frequently getting absorbed in their emotions. Per the Pokédex, Super Evolution fills the Pokémon with a “huge amount of energy, but it's too much for this Pokémon to completely control,” which seems a lot like a classic Crab crash-out. The sign famous for being charmingly judgmental is clearly mirrored across this Pokémon’s entire lineage, from a always surprised expression like a Maiden when you inform them you lack a 401(k), to its upside-down face that’s similar to the emoji a Virgo sends to the group chat when everyone says they want to “go with the flow” instead of creating a strategy.

Libra – Mega Audino

Look at this gentle, sensitive creature, who employs the sensors on its ears to detect how people are emotionally by their heartbeat. Always compassionate – occasionally to a fault – and striving to keep the harmony, there are numerous Libras who would probably appreciate Mega Audino’s skills. Though, to be frank, it would likely just make them stress more about everyone else.

The Scorpion – Mega Banette

This Ghost-type is a creature with a surprisingly sad backstory: Discarded as a toy, it gained sentient through sheer resentment and vowed revenge on its previous caretaker. According to the official info, Super Evolution, “enhances its vindictiveness.” That sounds precisely like several discussions I’ve had with my intense Scorpio friends. A Scorpio adores karma and retribution, making them the perfect match with Mega Banette.

Sagittarius – Mega Hawlucha

Each Mega Hawlucha and Sagittarians are always putting on a performance. Being a Archer personally, the amount of occasions I’ve referred to myself some variation of a “silly little jester” is countless. The most flamboyant and most attention-seeking Mega Evolution, its Pokédex entry even mentions how it “flexes to display its power.” I would do the very same thing if I had a Mega evolved form, making Super Hawlucha the most fitting Sagittarius counterpart I can think of.
