Work carried on on Saturday to recover electricity in Kyiv, after Russian attacks.
Power had been returned to more than 800,000 citizens by Saturday and the largest utility provider stated the main work to recover electricity was finished though partial blackouts remained.
Anti-Aircraft Operations and UAV Downings
Ukraine's anti-aircraft systems downed or disrupted 54 out of seventy-eight UAVs from Russia launched against Ukraine overnight, the air force said on the weekend.
The Russian defense officials said it shot down forty-two Ukrainian drones over Russian territory.
Cuba Rejects Accusations of Deploying Soldiers to the War
Havana on the weekend rejected US assertions it has deployed military personnel to participate in the Ukraine war, while declaring Cuban authorities "do not have exact details about individuals" engaged "voluntarily" or "within the troops of the conflicting parties".
