Forward Sesko will be absent from Slovenia's upcoming matches versus Kosovo and Sweden due to a knee problem suffered during the recent match against Tottenham. Nonetheless, Manchester United is optimistic that he could be back in time to play against the Everton side after the international break.

The forward had to come off after 87 minutes of the Saturday 2-2 stalemate against Spurs having been introduced on 58 minutes replacing Noussair Mazraoui. Coach Ruben Amorim voiced worry after the game, resulting in Sesko's withdrawal from the Slovenian squad.
