Loyal followers of the pop star are demanding that a man who leaped a fence and seized the actress during the recent Wicked: For Good premiere be detained or expelled from Singapore.

A viral footage reveals the Australian man pushing past media personnel and lunging at Grande while the performers proceeded down a promenade flanked by fans.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo quickly wrested the shocked performer away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being removed of the premiere by guards.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram recently that he was "released after being detained", though legal records revealed that he was set to appear on the following morning. It is not clear if he was faced legal action.

Pattern of Event Invasions

This is not an isolated incident for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Controversial Figure", has crashed a concert or event. His Instagram account contains recordings of him disturbing other high-profile occasions, including breaching the performance area at the artist's Sydney concert in June this year and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers performance in the area last year.

"There needs to be action taken against him as this is evidently a punishable act," stated an Instagram follower, in a reply to a video Mr Wen shared of his actions.

"Oh wow so you do this a lot... how aren't you in jail?" one Instagram user wrote.

Fans Show Disapproval Over Grande's Past Trauma

Many fans criticized Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had spoken of experiencing PTSD after a suicide bomb attack at the finale of her 2017 concert in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and injuring hundreds.

"The star has endured numerous terrifying experiences... including the Manchester tragedy, and you believed breaching security was amusing?" wrote a further message on Instagram.

A number of supporters also criticised guards at the premiere for not being adequately prepared; while others called for digital services to remove Mr Wen's uploads.

Reaction and Event Details

In videos circulating online, Grande seemed surprised when she was approached by the intruder. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted reassuring her while Mr Wen was escorted away by security.

Grande has not commented on the event, and the remaining proceedings carried on uninterrupted.

The show itself is a adaptation of the 1900 children's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who plays the good witch Glinda, was dressed in a rosé sparkling outfit at the gathering while Erivo, who portrays the villainous character, wore a sleek black dress embroidered with roses.

They were alongside co-star Jeff Goldblum.

The initial film, Wicked, was the highest-grossing film of 2024 in the UK, and earned 10 Academy Award nods, earning a pair for outstanding attire and set decoration.
